Homecoming 2026 | Early Dismissal, Parade, and Game Information

Homecoming Week is ramping up the Pirate excitement! 
Here are some reminders and helpful hints for our families and community.

Parade
The Homecoming Parade will start at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 25. It runs on Main Street from High Street to the Walnut Street area.
  • Students will be dismissed three hours early: HCP, BHS, and BTEC at noon; DBE at 12:15; and LSE at 12:20 PM.
  • Parents and the community are encouraged to arrive downtown early, as streets will close shortly before the parade begins.
  •  Parade participants will receive lineup instructions directly from Mrs. Margie Brimer. Her email address is marjorie.brimer@bpsk12.net.
  • Special thanks to BHS Student Council Sponsor Mrs. Margie Brimer and the BHS Student Council for organizing this annual tradition.

Football Game

Cheer on the Pirates as they take on the Southern Boone Eagles at 7:00 PM Friday, September 25, at Gene Reagan Field.
  • Fans may pay admission at the gate with a card, tap-to-pay on a phone, cash, or a pre-purchased ticket.
  • A Booster Club tailgate sponsored by BTC Bank and a concession stand will be open and stocked with food and drinks for sale.
  • The Pirate Team Store will be open in BTEC. Fans can access the store through the BTEC rear doors.
  • The Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned at halftime, and the Silver Pirate Marching Band will perform the halftime show.
  • The map below shows the gate entry points. Attendees may park in any building parking lot.

Safety and Behavior
Parents and guardians, please help us keep our young Pirates safe by watching your child during the game.
  • Students must stay within designated areas. Soccer fields and tennis courts are closed during BHS football games.
  • Please leave your personal footballs at home. We are here to watch and cheer on the BHS Pirates!
  • We ask fans of all ages to display good sportsmanship at all athletic contests.

Dance (BHS Students)

The Homecoming Dance (BHS students and registered guests only) is on Saturday, September 26, from 8:30-10:30 PM in the BHS Commons.
