100th Day of School--Wednesday, Feb. 4th

We love to celebrate the 100th Day of School! Each classroom celebrates this monumental day in a different way. Please check your teacher's communication for details.

Fun Ways to Celebrate at Home:

Find 100 objects and sort them into groups of 10
Count by 2s, 5s, and 10s
Do 100 Jumping Jacks
Write your name 100 times

Pirate Pup Olympics--Friday, Feb. 6th

We are excited to kick off the Olympics with our own special Olympic Day! Students will attend an opening ceremony at 8:00---don't be late to school! They will also get to participate in an Olympic Obstacle Course in the gym. Classrooms will participate in their own Olympic activities as well. TEAM HCP!

Glow Dance--Friday, Feb. 6th

We hope to see lots of Pirate Pups at our PTO sponsored event! This event is designed for HCP students. It is strongly encouraged for only HCP students to attend.

Thank you PTO for providing bagels and a yogurt bar for staff last week. It was SO appreciated!

RTI--Daily Intervention

We are excited to share that our school will begin round two of daily school-wide intervention for all students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade starting Monday, January 26th. This targeted intervention time is designed to provide focused, specific instruction to support student learning and growth.

All K–2 students will participate daily during the following times:

Kindergarten: 1:10–1:40 PM
1st & 2nd Grade: 8:05–8:35 AM

Because this intervention is a critical part of our instructional day, it is very important that students arrive at school on time so they can fully participate. Consistent attendance will help ensure your child receives the maximum benefit from this support.
